SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS

Why Situational Analyses?

As part of UNPRPD programme’s inception phase countries have developed comprehensive situational analyses on the rights of persons with disabilities to identify priorities for funding and accelerate CRPD implementation and achievement of inclusive SDGs.

The analyses were conducted using a participatory approach and multi-stakeholder process, including organisations of persons with disabilities and broader civil society, governments, UN agencies, public service providers, research centres, donors, and development banks.

For more information on methodology and scope, see Guidance Note.
